Additionally, it serves as anchor storage and anchor chain guidance. When at anchor, the anchor chain would conflict with a bobstay, which is why the bobstay was omitted from this 3-meter long structure. A simple but very effective solution, engineered on behalf of 2MV and Contest Yachts.
