Composite Structural Engineer

Solico has been a market leader for composite engineering since 1990. Solico provides composite engineering solutions for numerous prominent clients across industry sectors such as Architecture, Maritime, Defence, and Civil Engineering.

Working at Solico, no two days are alike. One day our engineers are working on a novel composite façade in our capital, another day on Walrus Class submarines for the Ministry of Defence. No matter what, they’re always searching for the best and lightest solution in the smartest way possible. Craftsmanship and high-tech go side-by-side in a friendly and highly productive working environment. There’s a truly open corporate culture and our new offices are a fantastic place to work. Regular team building sessions, a drink after work, or casual get-togethers in the workplace are all calendar events at Solico. This combination of a nice working atmosphere and our diverse, highly driven, international team delivers the best possible quality for our clients and their challenging projects.

At Solico, we have three values that guide us every day:

  • Committed: Our commitment ensures we support our clients, and each other, wherever we can, as good as we can. It creates a team capable of dealing with the largest challenges.
  • Independent: Our individual independence, as well as our company’s independence, enables us to provide unbiased views, opinions, and results, ultimately leading to the best possible outcomes.
  • Fit for Purpose: All our activities are different and demand a specific approach. One project demands ultimate weight saving, whilst the next is a cost-effective validation. In every activity, we work closely with each other and our clients to determine what is needed to achieve the ultimate end goal.
